K. L. Britton’s art defines the connection and intimacy between artist and subject. Britton’s work explores the depth of the place and person they represent, capturing in paint an expression of a subject no photograph can replicate. Britton’s art is currently housed in private and corporate collections around the world, including the U.S., Canada, and U.K.
K.L. Britton American artist, currently working in beautiful Bisbee, Arizona, and Los Angeles, California. Britton’s work is influenced by great masters of the past and present, as well as the epic Western artists presented in Scottsdale, Arizona, where Britton was born and raised surrounded by artwork of the west. Britton studied with Jeremy Lipking, as well as self studying for years. Britton has taught many students, beginning and intermediate, in drawing and painting, and currently teaches online or in her studio in Bisbee, Arizona
